If you’d like to see me for therapy in person, I offer sessions in my dedicated garden office, a comfortable, private, and confidential space.
However, I understand that busy schedules and life commitments can make it difficult to attend face-to-face sessions. That’s why I also offer online appointments. I’m highly experienced in delivering therapy remotely and regularly work with clients and supervisees both in the UK and internationally.
Online sessions are just as private and effective. I conduct them from my secure office, so as long as you have a quiet space where you won’t be overheard, we can work together in this way.
Appointments are scheduled in advance at a mutually convenient time and must be paid for via direct bank transfer before each session. The fee is £90 for a 70-minute session.

How Does Therapy Begin?
Your first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you and understand what has brought you to therapy. I will take a detailed history of your life, experiences, and any key events that may have contributed to the difficulties you're facing. This session is designed to be a safe, open space where you can talk freely, and I will listen carefully to gain a deep understanding of your needs.
By the end of this initial appointment, I will have a clearer idea of the most effective therapeutic approaches for you. If you are coming for hypnotherapy, this will begin in your second session. Over the years, I have found that a combination of psychotherapy and hypnotherapy provides the most well-rounded and lasting results. Some of your sessions will focus on talking therapy, while others will incorporate hypnosis to help you make meaningful and lasting changes.
Why Do People Seek Therapy?
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and people come to therapy for many different reasons. Some may be facing a major life event, while others simply feel stuck or unsure about their next steps. Therapy offers a space to reflect and move forward with greater clarity.
Some of the most common reasons people seek therapy include:
How Does Therapy Work?
Your first session will be an opportunity for us to clarify your goals and priorities for therapy. We’ll discuss what you’d like to focus on and explore how I can best support you. I will also give you an idea of how many sessions may be helpful, though this can be adjusted as we progress.
Each session lasts 70 minutes, giving us time to explore your concerns in depth, and to include hypnosis if we are working in that way.
The techniques used will depend on your individual needs, but therapy is always designed to provide you with a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My approach is collaborative, meaning we will work together to find the most effective ways for you to move forward.
Whether you are seeking therapy for personal growth, emotional healing, or to work through a specific issue, I am here to support you every step of the way.
What is the difference between counselling and psychotherapy?
Both are valid and effective ways of dealing with anything in your life that is causing you distress or unwanted behaviours.
Counselling
Often deals with the 'here and now', to help you get to grips with whatever is bothering you, offering tools in order to allow you to move on with your life in a more positive way. It can help you come to terms with distressing or traumatic events, such as the loss of a loved one, divorce or an accident. It can also be an effective way of dealing with longer term problems such as grief or anxiety.
Psychotherapy:
Usually more focussed on looking further into the past for reasons why you have developed or maintained certain behaviours or fears..
Hypnotherapy
Combines hypnosis and therapy together. Hypnosis is simply a natural state of mind where you relax down into a comfortable state of awareness. Your body relaxes and your mind becomes more focused on the things you wish to change.
Will I be under the therapists control?
The simple and honest answer is no. Hypnotherapy is a safe and effective method of working, you are never unaware of what is happening, and you are fully in control at all times. It is not as you may have seen on movies or on TV shows. Clinical hypnotherapy is designed to help you navigate any of life's challenges in a swift way.
Are there any side effects of hypnotherapy?
Yes, but they are all amazingly positive ones! Most people report a energised feeling directly after hypnosis, others say they sleep far better after a hypnotherapy session. The best side effects are to do with behavioral change! People say they feel far more positive, they have gone on to change their lives radically for the better.
